When I was in Cuba this February, my fabulous wife and I took a fancy boat to an island where we enjoyed lobster and an afternoon on an amazing beach. Anyway, one of the highlights was chatting briefly with a nice Cuban bartender -- he was wearing a Cancer Bats t-shirt. I thought this was neat, that a fella from Cuba was helping spread the word about a Canadian band. As is the case with many locals, particularly those involved in the service industry, they are often seen wearing hats and t-shirts given to them by tourists.
I tell this story because I had forgotten to share it with Scott Middleton, Cancer Bats guitarist and owner of a new guitar. If you missed my interview with him, see the link below. Tickets are cheaper, and it'll be louder. Sounds like a nice idea to me.
